My Family
I have had horses all my life. I grew up on a 200 acre farm where I rode with my grandfather, dad, uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers. We would head out to the rodeo grounds every Saturday night for practice, play days and have an actual rodeo once a month. I have run barrels since I was led by my Mom around the barrels at 2-3 yrs old. I cannot remember ever not having horses. I have raised and trained some very good barrel horses.
I have 4 children: Johnny Jr., Patty, Billy and Kim that grew up with horses and now my grandchildren are being raised with them and love it.
My grandchildren are: Kelan 13, Ashley 11, Megan 10, Valicity 8, Bradyn 4. They all love to ride and help around the ranch with feeding, training, but riding mostly. The girls all love to ride barrels now and do very well at it. The boys, they are willing to try any thing once. I have a brand new grandson, Colton Jarius. I'm sure that he will develope a special love for horses just like all the otehr grandchildren.
An update on Valicity: She is doing great. Her last check up was super, very little leakage and no upcoming surgeries expected for a long time. I continue to thank everyone so much for their requested updates and continued prayers.
